Welcome everyone, all one of you!

Yep, I've finally jumped on the bandwagon, a day late and more than a few dollars short. I suppose I should introduce myself a bit before going into a giant angsty tyraid against...something.

I go by Huginn online. Nope, my parents didn't hate me, or at least, anymore than anyone else's. Huginn's the name of one of two ravens trained by Odin in Norse mythology, the second being Muninn. Huginn and Muninn are also known as Thought and Memory, respectfully, and represent my human's feelings as such in this place.

Now, before you start assuming, (remember what they say about when you assume) I don't really believe I'm really some magpie or raven incarnate. I'm just another sparsely haired ape typing away at a keyboard, but playing a mythical bird to represent my thoughts and memories appeals to me.

Now that that's taken care of, I suppose you'd like to know more about me. Well, all in good time. If you somehow stumble across this journal in your trek across the vast interweb, then God be with you, because you might find out far more than you want to know.

Why a magpie? I don't know, it's not like God or my spirit animal came to me in a vision and said 'Thou shalt be a corvid!' They're interesting birds, to be sure, but it was more of a random pick, really. Though, I do have an appeal for shiny objects...

More will be added later, unless of course I get bored with this whole deal and let this journal rot like so many others.
